To put it bluntly, i’ve never owned such a product, and until the point at which I started using the player I had simply assumed nothing of the item. But how wrong I was!
I’m surprised in just how SWOFY have managed to cram so many features into a device that sells for a fraction of a phone. A basic, but fully functional OS that supports more than simply the ability to play music via an SD card, was what astonished me. On boot, you get a selection of themes to choose from on the home page. You get a settings app, much like an android phone, with brightness controls! Bluetooth functionality on top of the other features, that makes wired headphones redundant. The in-built speakers will get the job done for radio, as an example, but you don’t want to rely on them for listening to music. I can’t bash the device as a result of having bad speakers however, because it’s something SWOFY probably didn’t even need to put on an MP3 player, but the fact it’s there as backup is something to be positive about.
32GB storage you will be fine with, as it’s not 1440P content you’re watching on a display of much lower resolution. You do get expandable storage though, and on something as small as this, it’s no wonder people complain so much about modern day android phones typically devoid of such a feature. 128GB is the maximum supported amount, enough to probably download a million songs in a normal quality format.
Overall, i really like what you’re getting here; it’s a touchscreen device almost reminiscent of a budget android phone, but without antennas to call from. It’s a great device if you’re someone easily prone to procrastinating on your phone. I highly recommend this as a result!
