This is better than an Ipod for me! I reached out to customer service for a minor question and received the most courteous and prompt response. This is the best music device that I’ve ever owned! I am very pleased with it. Great sound quality, supporting so many music formats, great for my workouts! I am so grateful!
This is an excellent MP3 player and I especially like being able to add a larger micro-SD card to increase storage. The Music App is wonderful. My first G3 had an inoperable micro-SD card reader. Innioasis customer support is very responsive, and the company shipped me a new G3. The only issue was that it took time going back and forth with email for troubleshooting, to prove it was broken.
This has plenty of space for your music I got over 300 songs on it with space for more. It is a droid platform so if you’re use to forbidden fruit and not tech savvy you may struggle a bit. I literally just plugged it in and did a copy paste. If you can’t get that then just pop the memory card and load it on the device will do the rest once you insert the SD card. Downside is the speaker is not that great, but come on who’s using it anyway most are using BT headphones. Would totally recommend if you are looking for a media player. Its like a zune but way less weight.
I only use it to play prerecorded MP 3’s, about 3 hours per day. The battery charge never went below 70%. My preference is to use regular headphones rather than ear plugs. It looks great, solidly built, compact, very light weigh. Since the finish is extraordinarily smooth, is easy to lose grip and drop it on the floor, if not careful. I would buy it again.
I bought this mp3 player mainly to listen to audio books. I was thrilled to see librivox, which is a non profit free service in the app lineup.
I started to listen to books and google has allowed some very intrusive, repetitive ads into this free app.
The manufacturer has to lean on google to provide this app without ads.
Google is a bottom feeder and it is disgusting that they would take a service that is non profit and geared towards education and the free flow of ideas and ruin it with ads.
Libri Vox developed the platform to enrich and inform. Google took that initiative and turned it into another money machine.
Good people donate time and a lot of effort to support Libre Vox. Google soils all the hard work of the volunteers and supporters do to make money on a service they did nothing to create.
I’m giving an overall 3 stars. First, battery life is a lot worse than any phone you’ll get. 200% more drain than a kindle doing the same tasks and that’s a kindle with a 2 year old battery. Second, although it’s android there’s no play store and no way to readily install any apps. I’ll update if I can get this rooted but, even being a geek, I may not be able to. Third, older folks with less than stellar vision won’t be able to see what’s going on in the screen without your goggles. Fourth, the screen material isn’t quality like your latest phones and regular usage with show up scuff marks immediately.
I use this because a kindle is overkill and I wanted something smaller to listen to audiobooks to go to sleep. That’s all I use it for so your experience might be different. If you want to read books on this, get something else because, unless your vision is fantastic, the font is tiny. That’s a given for a screen this small. Tradoffs right?
Do not need most apps on this, as I have an enormous music collection in mp3 format. Radio seems fine, and loading music could not be easier. Interface for music and some controls is a bit clunk. Also seems to work only with usher plug that is a bit longer than the many I have located throughout the house, making charging slightly less convenient. Still, costs way less than even a return iPod, can hold tons more than my older 160gb iPod, and best of all, I do not have to deal with blankety-blank iTunes, a program I really hate. Not perfect, but this is now my primary mp3 player, with iPod relegated to backup status.
